Vacancy Announcement-EA LMI CNI Unit
The "Establishing Employer led Labor Market secretariat (ELMS)" EA LMI Unite based in CNI invites qualified and eligible candidates for application to following positions.
The project is jointly implemented by CNI, FNCCI, FNCSI, HAN and FCAN with support from the Dakchyata Project, funded by the European Union and managed by the British Council. The project's objective is to create a model for Employer Associations to conduct harmonized demand side LMI activities.
Position: EA LMI Unit Coordinator/Program Manager (One)
Minimum Requirement
Master's Degree in relevant filed or with minimum 5 years of experience in TVET sector
Activities of Work
• Ensure the timely implementation of the project activities assigned or 'Earmarked" for EAs
• Plan and resource LMI field studies (LMI survey, skills classification activities (NSCO).
• Support SWG members in LMI study design and planning.
• Coordinate among EAs for LMI information collection activities at field
• Coordinate/communicate with EOU, EA monitoring committee and EA LMI Unit team
• Ensure the overall management of the EA LMI Unit and timely completion of the field work
• Facilitate meeting, discussion, and workshop and prepare reports on the findings.
• Ensure the capacity building of the EA LMI Unit
• Prepare reports of the completed activities
Position: EA LMI Unit Finance/Admin Officer (One)
Minimum Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Management or in relevant field or minimum 3 years of experience in the project's administration and finance
Area of activity
• Prepare EA LMI Unit budget as per the guideline from EOU with justification
• Prepare budget vs. expenses comparison with surplus or negative status with Justification
• Prepare quarterly financial reporting in line with the narrative report
• Ensure the procurement made as per the policy and guideline and inventory management.
• Keep book of accounts of all transaction on reliable system
• Communicate and coordinate with the finance manager of the project in financial matter
• Ensure timely payment of Salaries, rent, utilities bills, and invoices.
• Ensure timely auditing of the project money.
Position: Program officers (One)
Minimum Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in relevant filed or with minimum 2 years of experience in project
Area of Activity
• Support program coordinators to carry out plan activities.
• Support SWG representatives to share the sector specific information in SWG meeting.
• Support research officers/ regional coordinators to identify and select the association members for study purpose.
• Communicate with the district chapter association, provincial associations for ensuring the selection of the right respondent.
• Support program coordinator to prepare EALMI Unit’s activity plan, budget and report.
• Maintain timely communications with the members and stakeholders.
• Document knowledge, experiences gain in the project implementation capturing through pictures, notes, forms and formats, issue sheets.
• Support the provincial coordinator to organize various orientation meetings, FGDs at province and district level to support field researchers for conducting research studies.
• Support EA LMI Unit Coordinator to conduct need assessment of the EA LMI Unit staffs, member associations for capacity building to carry out LMIs activities.
• Manage data and information in the software collected by the field researchers.
